Charles-Henri Lison UX Leader based in Melbourne, Australia
I had my first computer at the age of 12, sold my first website at 17, and since then, I decided to design the user experience of web applications that will make an impact. I have been doing this for more than a decade, and I am still learning every day.
I am originally from Belgium where I studied Computer Graphic Design (Bachelor Degree). After completing my degree, I quickly moved to Paris for two years. Pushed by a desire for adventure, I then moved to Australia in 2011 and became a citizen a few years later.
As a leader, I provide support, mentorship and development enabling a creative culture. I guide the research and design process to identify customer needs and address them within the business and technological context. I manage design across multidisciplinary teams by helping designers live the team values, and align with the business strategy and vision.
I have researched and designed user experience for the web and mobile apps, I worked in both B2C and B2B environments across different industries such as banking, insurance, telecommunication, accounting and retail. I also conducted hundreds of hours worth of user research activities ranging from usability testing, user interviews and contextual inquiry.
I am currently Head of User Experience at Prime Motive, a design strategy and experience innovation company based in Melbourne CBD. I am also part of the InVision Design Leadership Forum, and always keen to connect with fellow members.
